Personal Impression
Table Bay is a new large luxury hotel. A big new hotel that is located right on the historic Waterfront area of Cape Town. .Part of the “Leading Hotels of the World”. A good choice if you like a new large luxury hotel with the large foyer, lots of restaurants and facilities.

Location of the hotel
Perfectly situated in the waterfront.  However, this can good or bad depending on your view and where your room is located. This can be a noisy spot as the waterfront is still being used to load and unload ships that does go on throughout  the night. So if you are a light sleeper be aware of this issue. It will be well located for the waterfront restaurants, shops and attractions.

Accommodations
Table Bay has 329 rooms. All fully air conditioned there are 239 standard rooms, 68 luxury rooms, 4 handicapped rooms, 13 standard suites and then 5 larger suites the grounds to enjoy. All the rooms are exactly what you would expect in a new luxury hotel. Big beds, nice bathrooms with bathtub and separate showers, walk in closets, armoires, mini bar ( if you pick it up you are charged for it whether you use it or not, it is electronic monitored).  Decorated in muted tones of blue, pink and beige with floral accents. HUGE impressive foyer, and great comfortable bar areas..

Internet access
The hotel has an internet and business center that offers internet access as you would expect in a large hotel. There are charges for use of these services.

Dining and wines
The public rooms and restaurants here are really also exactly what you would expect in a new large hotel.  The Conservatory and Bar offers jazz piano in the evenings and the lounge hosts “high tea” in the afternoons. Extensive menus and wine lists to appeal to the most discerning of guests.

Spa
A full treatment spa and gym are available for guests.  Exactly what you would expect in a large first class hotel There are 5 treatment rooms and two specialized rooms for the Vichy Shower and Aromatherapy tub.

Summary
This is a new large luxury hotel, with all the amenities you would expect, comfortable accommodations and a great location if you wish to be right on the waterfront..
