ITINERARY

Day 1 - JOHANNESBURG - WESTCLIFF HOTEL
Arrive and transfer to the luxurious Westcliff Hotel for one night.  With wealth built on gold, Johannesburg is lively, affluent and cosmopolitan, offering the visitor a tempting array of superb restaurants, elegant designer boutiques and bustling world-class shopping centers.  Rooms offer total privacy and most have sunny, private balconies with spectacular views over the Zoological Gardens and the forested northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

Days 2 & 3 - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK - SAVUTE ELEPHANT CAMP
Take your scheduled flight to Maun, Botswana and on to the Savute region of the Chobe National Park, an area renowned for its high concentration of Elephant and dramatic eco system.  During your two night stay at the Savute Elephant Camp you will see amazing sightings of lion, under the skilled direction of an expert guide.  You will also have the luxury of watching elephants drink from the waterhole while sitting on the deck of your tent, enjoying your favorite drink.

Days 4 & 5 - MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE - KHWAI RIVER LODGE
After a morning activity, transfer by light aircraft to the river bank tranquility of the Khwai River Lodge for two nights. Witness the daily procession of big game that roams the Khwai floodplains, in front of the camp. Daily activities at Khwai include day and night game drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles and walking safaris along the river. Other facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible include a large swimming pool, Naturally Wild spa treatments and a small, discreet gymnasium.  During your stay, enjoy a romantic dinner on your own private deck.  As you sit contemplating the day’s activities consider further unwinding with a highly specialized massage in the spa. 

Days 6 & 7 - OKAVANGO DELTA - EAGLE ISLAND CAMP
After a morning activity, fly on to the Okavango Delta and Eagle Island Camp.  Continue on a short flight to the renowned Okavango Delta and Eagle Island Camp.  Enjoy two nights at the camp among the prolific birdlife of the island and surrounding Delta. Spend time exploring the local islands by mokoro traditional 'mokoro canoe (water levels permitting) and on foot, for an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 8 & 9 & 10 - CAPE TOWN - MOUNT NELSON
In the afternoon, transfer to Maun for the connecting flight to Cape Town and the Mount Nelson Hotel.

Day 11, 12 & 13 - HERMANUS - BIRKENHEAD HOUSE
Perched high on the cliffs of Hermanus, overlooking the whale watchers' paradise of Walker Bay, is the regal Birkenhead House, a 1.5 hour drive from Cape Town. Accommodating guests in the utmost luxury, this is the perfect destination for those seeking the pinnacle of seaside living. From the comfort of the residence, guests can look forward to sighting the majestic Southern Right whales that enter the sheltered waters of Walker Bay every year to calve. Other attractions include a gym and treatment center, and a dual-level swimming pool located in a sheltered courtyard. Not forgetting, of course, Hermanus' two best swimming beaches which are just a stone's throw away. Spectacular mountain trails and breathtaking cliff path walks are also in easy reach from Birkenhead House. Guests can explore the thriving floral kingdom, which has a higher diversity of species than anywhere else in the world.

Day 14
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your departure flight.

• Return regional scheduled flights with Air Botswana JNB – MUB – CPT in economy class (subject to availability).

•  6 nights accommodation at Orient-Express Safari Camps (2 nights at each camp) in a Luxury twin tent includes all meals, drinks (excluding premium brands), game view activities, scenic game viewing helicopter flight from Eagle Island Camp, national park fees, laundry services, emergency evacuation insurance and shared light aircraft flights on a Maun to Maun routing.

• Private return CPT INT APT transfers in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle

• 3 nights accommodation at The Mount Nelson Hotel in a Superior room (complimentary upgrade to Luxury Room, subject to availability) including breakfast in the restaurant.
