Kom Ombo - The Temple of the Crocodiles
An easy 5 minute walk from the ship is
Kom-Ombo and the twin sanctuaries of the crocodile-headed Sobek and
hawk-headed Haroeris set on a hill overlooking the Nile.
This temple is famous for
the walls depicting stories of the medical theories, instruments and
operations performed by the ancient Egyptians. During our walk
to the temple we saw interesting sights including a cobra snake
charmer with a cobra out of the basket.

Edfu Temple
