TINTSWALO GAME LODGE

Tintswalo Safari Lodge is a part of the Manyeleti Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger area of Limpopo province. The suites and lodge are situated along a seasonal river bed among an ancient sycamore tree grove. The air conditioned suites are authentically decorated to recall the pioneering times of the nineteenth century African explorers. The spacious bathrooms feature a romantic bathtub and individual indoor/outdoor showers. The rooms open out onto a deck with a large private plunge pool. The exquisitely appointed main lodge overlooks a waterhole frequented by big game.

The lodge features a Vital Source Spa, which makes use of Elemis and Africology products for indulgent spa treatments and massage therapies.

The Manyeleti Reserve borders Kruger National Park and the Timbavati and Sabi Sand Reserves. This is big         five country, and game populations are strong. Birdlife is prolific as well, providing an ornithologist’s treat.

Game viewing at Tintswalo takes place on foot or in open game drive vehicles. Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives through the reserve in the company of experienced, professional guides and trackers. Vehicles are also equipped with spotlights for searching out nocturnal game just after your sundowner stop on the way to a superb dinner. With a maximum of eight safari vehicles traversing the reserve at any one time, Manyeleti has one of the lowest vehicles densities of all of the private reserves in the Greater Kruger region.

Walks in the reserve are guided and give you the opportunity to come away with information on wildlife, nature, and the local Shangaan traditions, something only obtainable through an “on the ground” experience.

During the midday break, you can enjoy the lodge amenities at your leisure, including a small but exclusive library of rare books or the onsite Vital Source Spa.

At Tintswalo, dining is an important part of the experience, and staff will go out of their way to allow guests to dine privately or with other guests and never in the same place twice. The cuisine at Tintswalo is contemporary and incorporates only the freshest ingredients. Meal times are designed around guest needs for the ultimate dining experience.
