DEPOSIT, PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION

 This is a luxury safari featuring small private lodges in Sabi Sands and Manyeleti private game reserves

Group Size:
The group size is up to 16 people including your escorts, Linda and Ron Litteken who will be with you during the entire itinerary and at all properties. 

Cancellation Policy
The date of cancellation shall be deemed to be the date on which the written notification is received in the K&D offices which issued the confirmation. 

Cancellation Fees are as follows:
25% of the deposit  ZAR 2500.00 (approximately USD $300 per person) administrative cancellation fee on any booking.
Note: This fee is waived if Brown and Keene re-sells the reservation prior to final payment due date and prior to the time that any non-refundable or non-transferable arrangements have been made by K&D.

·180 days or more prior to departure – ZAR 2 500.00 (approximately USD $300) per person
·179 – 91 days prior to departure – 10% of the tour cost, per person
·90 – 46 days prior to departure date – 25% of the tour cost, per person
·45 – 31 days prior to departure date – 40% of the tour cost, per person
·30 – 15 days prior to departure date – 50% of the tour cost, per person
·14 days or less prior to departure date – 100% of tour cost to include handling fee and liquidated damages for KDH.

Deposit and Payment
A deposit of R10000.00 per booking, single or double occupancy, is required for confirmation of services, with the balance to be paid not later than 90 days prior to commencement of services.  

Pricing
Safari is priced in Rand and will float with rand exchange rate. The cost of the safari in US $ will vary considerably either UP or DOWN from the original estimates depending on the exchange rate.  During the period before final payment is due should the rand exchange rate be favorable early payment may be advisable.

Pricing Changes
Accommodation is set in price. Charter flights and transfers are included at 2010 pricing and will mostly likely increase in price by 2011. Flight pricing cannot be confirmed until purchased.

 Tour Booklet
Clothing, luggage limitations, lodge details and other information will be provided in a personalized tour booklet at the time of final payment. This will include all the safari details as it relates to your personal safari package.

Tips for the group are included at Birkenhead House, La Residence and while traveling, for porters at airports, drivers and guides on transfers.
Tourism Levies and Welcome Pack
Fully inclusive means with all meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner and local wines and spirits, premium brands excluded. Laundry also included at Birkenhead House, La Residence, Tintswalo, Leopard Hills and Lion Sands. 

Tips at the Game Parks are excluded
Tips to be paid in advance by check to Brown and Keene at final payment to facilitate open seating game vehicles.
Linda will pool all tips and handle this arrangement at the game lodges.
